Give life-changing nutrition to children in CAR
Your support can deliver vital nutrition to children at risk of malnutrition in Central African Republic
Central African Republic (CAR) is facing a severe hunger crisis, driven by displacement and climate change.
This multi-faceted crisis is leading to dangerous levels of hunger among children and babies, and cuts to international aid are putting more lives at risk. But your donation can help.
Concern's staff are on the ground in CAR preventing malnutrition amongst children who are at risk, and implementing sustainable programmes in communities to build resilience against future shocks. Supporters like you are giving families a chance to recover, survive and rebuild - families like Dominique's*.
Dominique and Sylvie

Our team met Dominique and her two-year-old granddaughter Sylvie* at a health centre in Mboto. Sylvie’s mother died suddenly, leaving her and her two siblings in the care of their grandmother Dominique.
Still grieving the loss of her daughter, Dominique and her husband work hard to provide for the family, but, with food incredibly scarce, it’s an almost impossible task. Dominique grew concerned about her grandchildren’s health.

Dominique brought the three children to be assessed at the health clinic, walking for hours with Sylvie in her arms. Thankfully, nutritional support can prevent children like Sylvie from becoming malnourished.
Your donation can help us provide more children with this support.
